Room Redesign (“the app”) is made by Mehmet Burak Sayıcı. This page explains what the app stores and who receives it. It covers the iPhone app. It is not a privacy policy for the rest of this website.

Room photos and instructions

When you photograph or upload a room, that image and the text you type are sent to our server on Google Cloud (Europe) so a design can be generated. We store the photo and the design. We send the room photo and product reference images to OpenAI to produce the redesigned image. The result is AI-generated. We do not sell these photos.

If you dictate instead of typing, the microphone audio is sent to Apple’s speech recognition so it can be turned into text.

Account, region, and purchases

The app keeps an install id on your phone so credits and rooms stay with that install. We also store the country and language you confirm, because product search uses them.

If you use Sign in with Apple, we store the Apple user id and, when Apple provides them, your email and name. You can also set a display name in the app.

Purchases are processed by Apple. We store the product you bought and the transaction id so credits can be granted once and restored. We do not receive your card number. Apple keeps its own record of the purchase.

How long we keep it

We keep the account, room photos, designs, and purchase records until you delete the account. In the app, open the account tab and choose delete account. That removes the account, room photos, designs, and unused credits from our server. It cannot be undone. Apple may still keep the purchase in your Apple ID.

Signing out of Apple disconnects the Apple ID on our server. Credits stay with the install. Photos saved only on the phone are removed from the phone.

Tracking

We do not use advertising identifiers. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We do not sell personal information.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

This website

Pages on mburaksayici.com, including this one, are a separate site. In production that site uses Google Analytics. The Room Redesign app does not.
